What We Do

Since 2017, the SisQ Bee Club has led the efforts to promote the adaptation and expansion of Honey Bees in Siskiyou County by providing members with the knowledge and skills to install and maintain healthy bee hives.

The SisQ Bee Club offers several benefits to its members:

  • Monthly educational meetings centered around maintaining, enhancing, and promoting healthy bees

  • Spring bee purchases at reduced Club rates

  • Mentoring with long-term, local Beekeepers

  • Expertise from professional presenters and local business partners

  • Direct communication with Siskiyou County Ag Commissioner at monthly meetings

  • Support and socialization

  • Access to the Club’s honey extractor

General Club Meetings: First Tuesday of each month January through November
