Message from the Board

The SisQ Bee Club Board Members are proud to lead SisQ Bee Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in service to the Siskiyou County community. Working together to address the complex challenges facing Honey Bees, they strive for member success, environmental improvement, and enhanced education for the community. Much like a honey bee hive, they function as a single organism with a shared purpose: to support the survival, habitat, and continued proliferation of Honey Bees as they adapt to the changes shaping our world today.

Passionate about beekeeping, she respects Honey Bees for their resiliency and their complex social skills. She served as the Club’s Secretary from 2022–2023, continues as their Pollinator Garden Coordinator, and now fills the role of President/Secretary. Sheryl is focused on strengthening the organization, positively impacting Honey Bees, and using her Pollinator Steward Certification to benefit the Siskiyou County community.

She is an original member of the Siskiyou County Beekeepers Association, now the SisQ Bee Club, and currently serves as Vice President and Treasurer, having previously served as Treasurer from 2022–2023.
